Walk4Water-- SUCCESS!!

Hands4Others (H4O) - Denver Walk4Water

H4O
"is a movement of young people who (together with our families) have been called to change the world one person, one family, one village at a time by providing access to safe, drinkable, sustainable water to those in need."

Our good friends Jason and Adrienne have been involved with H4O for several years and have been working towards starting a Denver chapter. Today was Denver's first Walk4Water and we feel so honored to have joined them in this effort.

AND.... our team raised enough to fund our first village!! Praise God for allowing people to be so generous to donate their time and money to provide for such an amazing cause.

Spencer and I hope to be able to travel next summer to a village to help install a water purification system and see the fruit of everyone's effort.

Be the generation!

Aspen for Kaylee

8 months ago, we lost our Kaylee--our wedding gift to each other and our first Vizsla. She passed away on her own, in our front yard after battling a quick and terrible fight with Prototheca. Spencer and I agreed at that time, that we would plant an aspen for our girl as soon as we could in the spring.

To our Kaylee Bel..... Miss you pretty girl.

Field Trial Fun

Spencer, Tej, Cora and I went to the RMVC Walking Field Trial
this weekend and had a blast!
We enjoyed lots of margaritas, sunshine and laughter with friends, while helping the club put on a successful field trial.
Cora made her debut in the field, and ran in Open Puppy and Amateur Puppy. It was a great introduction for her into field events and
she had TONS of fun :) We might be hooked...

Show Time

This weekend, I came out of show retirement and showed Cora in her debut weekend at The Terry-All Kennel Club show. On Friday night, she went 2nd in Sporting Group Puppy at the B-match. Saturday and Sunday were the real deal--no wins, but we had fun! I'm excited to watch this silly puppy as she grows--and loving every minute of it!! She brings so much happiness to my soul.
